Zoom NFHS rules clinics beginning Thursday, 2/8. Future clinics are currently planned for the following
dates: Thurs 2/15, Tues 2/20, Thurs 2/22, Tues 2/27 and Wed 2/28. Mark your calendars. An on the field clinic will be held in early March.
All members are strongly encouraged to sign on for the zoom sessions which will start promptly at 7:00 PM and last approximately 90 minutes.

Important Dates for the 2024 High School Season:

  • ​​​2024 ​Certification and National Federation exams for MPSSAA officials will be accomplished online through the DragonFly Max software program. See your e-mail from Al Battista for details . The mandatory MPSSAA baseball rules interpretation session opens  February 2, 2024.  The 2024 National Federation HS Baseball Exam opens Monday, February 12, 2024. Be sure to check Dragon Fly for 2024 test ending dates.
  • The DragonFly Max software can be found at this link: https://www.dragonflymax.com/  When you first log on to register, follow the directions for Officials, Maryland, Baseball, Metro Baseball Umpires.*​
  • Currently, the first practice date for MPPSSAA sanctioned HS baseball will be March 1, 2024 with the season beginning March 20, 2024. 

​* NOTE: OFFICIALS MUST PAY THEIR MPSSAA 2023-24 REGISTRATION FEES DIRECTLY TO MPSSAA IN ADVANCE VIA THE DRAGONFLY SOFTWARE TO UMPIRE PUBLIC HIGH SCHOOL GAMES IN THE STATE OF MARYLAND. MBUA NO LONGER COLLECTS THAT REGISTRATION FEE FROM YOUR GAME FEES.
